Freelance Fulfillment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Services Provided

I provide custom design and development services tailored to the unique needs of each client. All work is delivered digitally, and services are offered through three engagement models:

• Flat Fee Projects:

  Clients receive a detailed proposal outlining the scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline, and a fixed project fee. Work begins once a deposit is received and the scope is approved. Final files are delivered once the project is complete and the remaining balance is paid.

• Hourly Projects:

  Clients engage me on a flexible hourly basis, typically with a desired hours cap. Work evolves based on client needs. Clients are notified when 80% and 100% of the agreed-upon hours cap is reached, at which point they may decide to extend or stop work.

• Retainer Agreements:

  Clients retain ongoing access to my services each month based on a loosely defined scope and role, with a set number of hours and a fixed monthly fee. A portion or full retainer fee may be due at the start of each month. The agreement and fee may be reassessed periodically, as agreed upon with the client.

Fulfillment Timeline

Timelines vary based on the type of engagement. Flat fee projects follow an agreed-upon schedule. Hourly and retainer-based work is more flexible and evolves based on active collaboration and ongoing needs. I provide regular updates to ensure alignment throughout the course of work.

Cancellations

Clients may cancel any project or retainer at any time by providing written notice. For flat fee projects, completed work and any agreed-upon deposit will be invoiced or retained. For hourly projects, clients are billed only for hours worked up to the point of cancellation. For retainers, any unused portion of the monthly fee may be refunded at my discretion, depending on the work completed and hours used.

Refunds

Because my services are custom and time-based, I do not offer refunds for completed work or hours already billed. For flat fee projects, deposits are typically non-refundable unless otherwise stated. For retainers, partial refunds may be granted at my discretion based on the unused portion of the agreement and services already rendered.
